Educated at Marischal College. MP for Aberdeenshire, elected unopposed (1732). Friend of the Administration in 1730s, he switched sides and began voting against the Government in 1739. Re-elected 1738 and 1741. Voted against the Hanoverians in 1742 and 1744. Retired in 1747.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
