Mentioned in the settlement examination of his wife, Elizabeth, at St Martin in the Fields, 5 March 1729. Apprenticed to Mr Tucker, mariner of Sunderland, at an unknown date, but at some point pressed into the navy. Married Elizabeth at the Fleet, c.1715, but died soon thereafter.</div>Scottishadmin
