Studied at King’s College in Old Aberdeen then travelled around Europe. &lt;br /&gt;
Reid had returned to Britain by 1609 and practised medicine in the English midlands &amp;amp; Welsh borders. He then settled in Holt (near Chester).&lt;br /&gt;
Published ‘A Description of the Body of Man' (1616) among other works.&lt;br /&gt;
Incorporated MA of University of Oxford (1620) and created doctor of medicine. Admitted as a candidate for the College of Physicians (1621). Made a fellow in 1624, and July of same year incorporated at Cambridge University. Reid is buried in London in St Mary Woolnoth parish.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
