'19 October 1642 -- Petition of the parishioners of Ryersh [Ryarsh], in the county of Kent. Mr Wm. Walton, the undoubted patron, has presented Mr Sybbalds, Bachelor of Divinity, of Aberdeen, but he is kept away in consequence of Mr Trott, vicar of Starefield, having raised a pretended claim to the living. Petitioners pray that Mr Sybbalds' presentation may be confirmed.'&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
