Styled Lord Haddo. Second Earl of Aberdeen. Gordon clan were staunch Catholics and Stuart supporters, Gordon was a moderate episcopalian and Jacobite. Returned for Aberdeenshire in general election of 1708. Petition again his election as the son of a Scottish Peer and forced to step down.
