Served about a year, paid 28s per year plus food and lodging. Lodged in Bedford Bury for about 26 years. Elizabeth died, c.1722, and he married his second wife, Jane, in a Catholic Chapel in St James parish. She died c.1725. Left Bedford Bury, c.1729, and worked for a time in Newcastle, but returned to Bedford Bury about a week ago. |
