Mentioned in the settlement examination of his widow, Elizabeth, at St Martin the Fields, 23 August 1728. Originally from Scotland, where he trained as a carpenter. Married Elizabeth at St Martin in the Fields, c.1725, but at some point thereafter travelled to Jamaica, where he died in 1727.
