Mentioned in the settlement examination of his wife, Jane, at St Martin in the Fields, 29 May 1741. Probably trained as a corset-maker in Scotland, but in London by c.1733, when he married at St Martin's Church. Abandoned his wife, 1741, and subsequent movements unknown.
