‘Ordered that Elizabeth Mackenzie a Scotch woman who was rescued from Some Soldiers on Saturday last when she was drunk as she hath confessed in open Court be for such her Offence Committed to and Set in the Stocks for an Hour And that then she be immediately conveyed out of the Town towards Scotland not being able to give any Account of he Self.’
