Minister of Cornhill, Northumberland (1649 or 1659), but ejected 1662. Returned to Scotland, living in Dryburgh and ministering when and where possible. Imprisoned in Scotland as a nonconformist and subsequently ejected from the country (1682). Lived for a time near Carlisle, but returned to live in the Scottish Borders (1685). Minister of Chirnside (1690).
