Minister of Glass (c.1666) and Coull (c.1671). Lost both charges on account of repeated poor behaviour, including fornication, indebtedness and defiance of presbyterial authority, and suffered excommunication (1681). Searched for work in London (1681), but finding no success, went to Ireland. Returned to Scotland, and became minister of Cardross (1690).
