Minister of Kilmarnock (c.1608) and Moffat (c.1610). Presented to sub-deanery of Glasgow (1628). Bishop of Brechin (1636), but deposed by General Assembly (1638). Fled to London, later becoming rector of Walgrave, Northamptonshire (1642).
