Thirteenth Lord Forbes. Zealous revolutionary who supported the Treaty of Union. Created Privy Councillor to King William (1689). Colonel of the Horse Guards (1702-4). Died July 1716 and buried at St. Martin's-in-the-Fields, Middlesex
