Thirteenth Lord Somerville. Attended school at Dalkeith, then Edinburgh. Somerville was sent to Aston Somerville to continue education. He completed his education at the Westminster School (left 1743). Returned to Scotland and joined the army as volunteer. At an unknown date returned to London where he died at his house in London (1796) and was buried at Old Weston Church, Bath.
