Pringles of Stichill were an ancient Scottish family. 1761 returned unopposed for Berwickshire with support of both the Marchmont and anti-Marchmont fractions. Undistinguished MP who probably voted with friends. Vacated seat in 1779 and played little role in politics thereafter. Died 1809.
