Despite being a minor was brought into Parliament by John Sinclair as MP for Caithness. Listed as a Whig yet joined Erskine, John (London) during the Fifteen. After the battle made peace with Campbell, John (London) and escaped punishment. Did not stand for re-election. Died 1772.
