Described as 'an old man'. Bound apprentice to a shipmaster in Inverness (1707). Served for 7 years, and has been a sailor ever since. Apprehended with his wife, Ellen (40) and their daughter, Mary (10). Examined as a vagrant and served with a removal order, 11 September 1741.
