Sister of Christie, Alexander. Went to London about 4 month previously, along with mother and brother, to see father, William Christie, a soldier. He had already been removed to a posting in Germany, and so the family received a pass to travel back to Scotland. Reached Lofthouse, where mother died, leaving Elizabeth and her brother begging. Examined as a vagrant and served with a removal order, 10 October 1743.
