36 years old. Apprehened with her son, James (3). Wife of Hogoe, John. Came to Whitby from Scarborough, where he husband, a tailor, was seeking work. He has since gone to Guisborough seeking work. She remained at Whitby because ‘she mett with some Scotch people and got a Drop of Drink’. Examined as a vagrant and served with a removal order, 12 September 1753.
