Examined as a vagrant in Marlborough, 2 November 1741. Born in Edinburgh, where eight years ago she married James Langley, now drafted as a soldier and posted overseas. He abandoned his family at Portsmouth about ten weeks previously. Being conveyed to Nantwich, Cheshire, where her husband was born.
