Examined as a vagrant in Marlborough, 7 January 1742. Born in Auldearn, and married John Singer, a solider in Cornwallis' regiment, c.1731. He died, and c.1732 she married William Wrunkin, also a soldier in Cornwallis' regiment, with whom she has travelled since as he moved between postings. He has now abandoned them to go to Portsmouth to join a different company, leaving his family destitute. Includes vagrant's pass to Warrington, last place of settlement for her husband (who was born in Cheshire).
