Mentioned in settlement examination of his wife, Marks, Ann, in St Martin in the Fields, 6 January 1736. Probably from St Andrews, where he married Ann c.1702. Came to London shortly thereafter and set up as a tailor, lodging and working from Easly Court, which was rented for £10 annually. Only son, William (b.c.1702), served as his apprentice. Died c.1720.
