Examined for settlement in St Martin in the Fields, 6 January 1736. Aged 63. Probably from St Andrews, where she married Marks, William, c.1702. Came to London soon thereafter, lodging at a house in Eagle Court for £10 annual rent. Remained there until widowed, c.1720, and since then has worked as a hired servant. Only son, William, served with his father as an apprentice tailor.
