Minister of Kilmacolm (1682), but ejected at the Revolution (1688-1689). Moved to London, probably in the 1690s, where he became involved with other Scots nonjurors. Consecrated a bishop in the English nonjuring Church (1712). Appointed episcopal bishop of Aberdeen (1723).
