Examined for settlement in St Martin in the Fields, 23 October 1732. Aged about 70. Apprenticed as a Fellmonger in Scotland. Came to London at an unknown date, and was widowed c.1720. Worked for about two years as a servant to Mr Hambrough in Round Court, earning £3 per year plus food and lodging. Has lived for some time in Vine Street.
