Examined for settlement in St Martin the Fields, 29 January 1735. Aged about 70. Widow of Clark, William, whom she married at the Fleet c.1715. Had been in London for several years before that as a servant to various people, most recently for two years to Mrs Mitchell, keeper of the Rainbow Coffee Hose on St Martin's Lane, earning £4 annual wages plus food and lodging. Widowed c.1727.
