Mentioned in the settlement examination of his widow, Thompson, Catherine, at St Martin in the Fields, 6 December 1742. Married in Edinburgh, c.1702, but in London by at least c.1713, when he began running an alehouse called the Thistle and Crown in Marygold Court, the Strand. Left 1714, and subsequent movements unknown. Died in Southwark, c.1730.
