Chapman in the Gloucestershire area. Robbed of his pack by William Curtis (1739), who was transported for the crime. Later imprisoned for debt at Bristol (1741), where he again crossed paths with Curtis and arranged to have him imprisoned for breaking the terms of his transportation.
