Mentioned in the settlement examination of his wife, Sarah, at St Martin in the Fields, 12 November 1750. Trained as a gardener in Scotland, bu in England by c.1734, when he married at Godmanchester, Huntingdonshire. Abandoned his wife, 1750, and subsequent movements unknown. Leaves two children, Catherine (b.c.1738) and John (b.1750).
