Mentioned in the settlement examination of his widow, Jane, in St Martin in the Fields, 18 November 1734. Originally from Scotland, where he trained as a carpenter, was in London by c.1714, when he married Jane at St Martin's Church. For a time kept a house at Bedford Bury, paying £10 annual rent. Stayed there approximately three years. Died 1734.
