Mentioned in the settlement examination of his wife, Anne, at St Martin in the Fields, 5 December 1739. Originally from Scotland, but in London by c.1720, when he married at the Sign of the Castle and Dolphin on Fleet Lane. Vanished c.1722, when he went out on business one night and never returned.
